Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
TBredIQ ("we", "us") publishes thoroughbred race intelligence at tbrediq.com. This policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the limited circumstances under which we share it.
2. Information We Collect
Provided by you
- Email address. Required to deliver any product, including the free Thurby card.
- Name. Optional. Used to personalize delivery and customer support.
- Payment information. Card details are entered directly into Stripe. We do not see, store, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or PIN. We retain only a Stripe customer ID, the last four digits of the card, and the brand of the card for receipt and refund purposes.
Collected automatically
- Server logs. Standard request metadata: IP address, user agent, page requested, timestamp. Used for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate usage analysis.
- Email engagement. When you open an email or click a link from us, our email provider records the event so we can confirm delivery and improve content. You can opt out of engagement tracking by disabling remote image loading in your email client.
3. How We Use Information
- To deliver the products you purchased or signed up for.
- To process payments and issue refunds.
- To send transactional email (order confirmations, race-day delivery, account notices).
- To send occasional product email about upcoming race cards. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Service Providers
We rely on a small set of vendors to operate the Service:
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Twilio SendGrid, Inc. — transactional and product email. See twilio.com/legal/privacy.
- Anthropic, PBC — large language model API used to generate written analysis. We do not send your personal information to Anthropic; we send only race-card data and our internal model output. See anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
- Web hosting and DNS providers — to serve the website.
These vendors process information on our behalf under their own privacy practices and our contractual terms.
5. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies for session state and checkout. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Retention
We retain customer email addresses and order history for as long as you maintain an active relationship with us, plus a reasonable period afterward to satisfy tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations (typically up to seven years for financial records). Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. You may request deletion of your account data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@tbrediq.com from the address associated with your account.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@tbrediq.com and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use TLS in transit, hashed credentials at rest, and standard industry practices to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot promise that information transmitted over the internet will never be intercepted.
10. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that materially expands how we use personal information, we will notify subscribers by email before the change takes effect.
